Ms. Lou grew up in the French Pyrenees where her youth consisted of skiing, hiking, acting in our local theater company and daydreaming in class. After high school, Lou signed up and was selected for a 2-year preparatory course for the very classical French Grandes Écoles, focusing on languages, philosophy, literature, and humanities. Afterwards, Lou attended college and received a Master's degree in Spanish and English to French Translation from the University of Angers. Lou's passion for education continued and she went back to school to obtain another Master's degree in Historical Ecology (a sociological focus on landscape) from the University of Pau. This last experience brought Lou to UGA for a semester. There she met Dr. Dana and together they started a new chapter of their lives at the beach.
