Lindsey O'Sullivan

MIDDLE YEARS HUMANITIES INSTRUCTOR

Lindsey is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) from the department of Educational Theory and Practice. After spending time studying the Reggio Emilia style of education in Modena, Italy, she returned to Athens, Georgia where she worked to integrate experiential learning into a first grade classroom. She has studied the usage of music and Hip-Hop culture in education and strongly believes in what psychologist Howard Gardner said about multiple intelligences- that “anything worth teaching can be presented in many different ways.” In her free time Lindsey likes to take her dog, Gryffin, for walks, read any book she can get her hands on, and practice her (very rudimentary) Italian.
